Banzai Japan!

Hi everyone, Emily here!

Today's theme is BANZAI JAPAN!~~~~~~~

So Japan is well known for many things but the thing i love most about Japan is the AWESOME manga and anime created each year!

Awesome story plots with beautiful drawings that grabs the reader's attention and makes you want more and more!

So manga is basically the Japanese comics and anime is Japanese animation/cartoons. They are erfect for anytime of the day with a variety to choose from and many genres. From your "calssics" comedy, romance and action genres to historical, sci-fi genres even "taboo" genres such as yaoi, shounen ai, yuri and shoujo ai which is basically translated bluntly gays, boy love, lesbian and girl love. So like i said, many variety to choose from ;)

Sometimes when mangas get adapted into anime or verse or they simple stay as a manga or an anime. examples of mangas turning into anime include: *Note these are really old school* Sailor Moon, Sakura Cardcaptor and Dragon Ball.

Other popular manga turned anime include: Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Fairytail and many more.

The recommendations for this week that have both manga and anime are:

Akatsuki no Yona

Which translates to Yona of the dawn. It talks about a crimson haired princess, who's childhood friend as well as first love murders her father. She escapes the castle with another childhood friend who also serves as her body guard to track down four begins who have received blessings dragons that will serve and protect her.

Akagami no shirayuki-hime

Meaning Snow White with the red hair. Shirayuki was a young girl born with unique apple-red hair. She meets a famous but foolish Prince Raji, who falls in love with her at first sight and orders her to become his concubine. With nowhere else to go, Shirayuki cuts her hair and escapes to a neighboring country. While traversing through the forests, she meets a young boy, Zen, who helps her after she boldly cures his wounds but then gets poisoned by an apple given to Shirayuki.

And lastly

Hyouka

Oreki Hotaro is a high school boy, who always acts passively. One day, he enters "Koten Bu (Classic Literature Club)" as recommended by his elder sister. There he meets Chitanda Eru, Fukube Satoshi, and Ibara Mayaka. Chitanda is a calm beautiful girl but she turns into an embodiment of curiosity once she says, "I'm interested in it (Watashi, Kininarimasu)". Fukube is a smiling boy with a fantastic memory, he never deduces anything on his own. Ibara is a short girl and is strict with others and herself. She loves Fukube, but he always dodges her approaches. They begin to investigate a case that occurred 33 years ago. Hints of the mystery are buried in an old collection of works of the former members of Koten Club. The collection is titled "Hyouka

Anyways enjoy and see you next week ~~~
